Ames -- Sarah Lindemulder's 60th-place finish led the Indian Hills women's cross country team in Saturday's Iowa Intercollegiate Meet. Lindemulder's time was 23:02 for the 5K race. It was the 4th meet in a row that the sophomore turned in the top time for the IHCC women.
According to coach Jim Streeby, Katie Harper, a freshman from Ollie, has been working hard and increasing her mileage each week. That hard work paid off for Harper whose time in this meet was 1:43 faster than in her first 5k race to start the season. Harper was 93rd and teammate Astred Aguilar next in 94th place for IHCC.
The Warriors will run in the Brisman-Lundeen Invitational in Davenport on Friday afternoon.
