IHCC Runners Brave the Conditions in Cedar Rapids

Cedar Rapids, IA -- Two Indian Hills runners took part in the women's portion of Saturday's Lamb-Kohawk Invitational, hosted by Coe College. Sarah Lindemulder and Brittany Lawson represented IHCC in the meet which was run in 30-degree weather with snow flurries and a brisk northwest wind.
Lindemulder's time was 25:53, good for 14th place, which earned her a t-shirt for a top-15 finish.
Lawson placed 26th with her time of 28:50 which represented a personal best for the IHCC sophomore, over a minute faster than her previous best.
The Warriors will take the remainder of the month to train for the Super Regionals which will be held in Peoria, Illinois on October 31.
